In 1962, Jim Ruble began building and racing engines for himself, then for friends, and eventually for friends of those friends. The name Ruble Racing originated when a friend made a car decal in his appreciation for the race engine Jim had built for him. Ruble Racing appeared on several race cars as others followed suit. The name eventually made it's way onto our own race car and seemed the only choice when it was time to name the engine business.

In 1986, after years of purchasing racing shirts, Sally invested in screen printing equipment. Her first job was to provide t-shirts for a national event - The Winston Championship Series, held at the Ozark Dragstrip located in Rogersville, MO. Sally has been screen printing for 21 years. A few years ago, embroidery was added as a service. Sally also runs the Souvenir Booths for many local race tracks as well as distant tracks.
